Lameness evaluation; visual gait assessment on the straight and circle (plus under saddle), flexion tests and local nerve blocks to further isolate the area causing lameness. 

Lameness treatment; intra articular injections, laser therapy, rehabilitation plans, NSAID therapy 

Colic work up and treatment; physical examination, rectal examination, nasogastric tubing, fluid therapy and medical management 

Wound treatment; including local aesthetic, wound lavarge and surgical vrs medical closure/ treatment. 

Ocular pathology; distant eye examination, ocular stain and ophthalmic exam, sub-palpebral lavarge placement, topical medical management, enucleation 

Soft tissue surgery; Castration and mass removal under standing or field anaesthesia 

Health evaluation; full in-house blood work machines and vet evaluation 

Management aid; feeding, housing and husbandry advise and assement 

Dental services (coming soon - our staff are awaiting specialist training 2025 !) 

Dr Kirstie works closely with several equine surgeon and medicine specialists and in such can provide prompt advice and Refferal for those cases which need a hospital setting
