Name: Dr Sally Rekers (BVSc), Practice Owner
Where are you from/grew up? Sally grew up in Melbourne, helping her parents with their veterinary clinic. She spent most of her winter weekends and holidays at Mt Buller and a lot of time at Goughs Bay with the family.
Where did you study? Bachelor of Veterinary Science, University of Melbourne 2000.
Professional history: She spent one day working at the Whitehorse Veterinary Hospital in Blackburn before answering the call of the High Country, and so her time at the Mansfield Veterinary Clinic began! She also has locumed at Tatura Vets for an equine reproduction season. In 2020, she and her husband Glenn (also known as Whitey) then became owners of the Mansfield Veterinary Clinic.

Pets: Sally and her family have Peppa the dog, 2 cats Oscar and Orea, chooks, sheep and a mob of assorted coloured cows!
Outside of work? Sally is a talented a skier and can be found on Mt Buller in the winter in her down time. She loves spending her time with their 2 kids and especially being a dance mum taking her daughter to dance classes and competitions.
