Jasmin Jackson
Name: Jasmin Jackson, Veterinary Technician
Where are you from/grew up?
I was born in Canberra, before moving to Wagga Wagga NSW at a young age.
Where did you study?
Simultaneously studied my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through GoTafe in Wangaratta (distance) and my Bachelor of Veterinary Technology through Charles Sturt University in Wagga (on campus).
Professional history:
I was lucky enough to get my first nursing job at Moorong Veterinary Clinic in Wagga Wagga after undergoing placement with them during my studies. I was then fortunate enough to work there for 3 years before joining the Mansfield Veterinary Clinic at the start of 2026.
Special interests:
- Anaesthesia and surgery
- Canine and feline dentistry
- General practice and patient care
Pets:
My partner and I have two cats named Percy and Pablo - I am a cat lover, and only lasted 3 months at Mansfield Vets before caving and adopting Pablo from their amazing kitten adoption program. We also have a Border Collie X named Penny.
Outside of work:
I love having a play with different art mediums (e.g clay, painting) and consider myself an amateur botanist. I also enjoy spending time with my partner exploring the High Country
